REFRAMING LOVE AS THE OPPOSITE OF NEGLECT
THE ASCENDENT MINDSET IN BUSINESS.
The most successful (and beloved) leaders of people will commonly speak to the virtue, philosophy and humanity of leadership to enable and empower people. This almost always come from a place of self-love, a self-respect that is then shared to love and respect others, ensuring a dignified experience that in turn, offers low HR churn and high life-time value, productivity yield.
Love within enterprise
is misunderstood.
Love is not weakness,
it is discipline.
Love is the opposite
of neglect.
And so to love, is to SERVE AND SUPPORT
with empathy and kindness.
Those who are still learning to be leaders, will be dismissive of such things,
love has no place and the reversion is to TELLING, CONTROLLING
and DEMANDING.
That is, until they realise that the consequences of such leadership
are a direct reflection and correlation to their behavioural process.
People who are not
well treated will leave.
People like to be
treated respectfully.
Love is therefore,
economical.
These are the ancient ideas of OIKOS and EKONOMOS.
