IF YOU WISH TO BECOME A LIGHT YOU MUST INEVITABLY OCCUPY THE DARK SPACES TO LIGHT THEM UP.

It is clear to me that some of the information I share is dark,
...yet if we wish to be a light to others, our light becomes the most present and visible when it occurs within the dark places.
A coherent person sees the world both for what it actually is and for what it can be. This is called becoming REALISTIC.
If we become blindly optimistic through blinkered positivity, we may ignore the very important early warning signs of the onset of an encroaching darkness.
No good leader avoids negativity.
A person who is only optimistic has poor mental self-discipline and is weak. A person who is only pessimistic also has poor mental self-discipline and is weak.
Both are unlikely to cast light on anything.
The stronger REALISTIC person deeply understands the downside, then behaves in a manner that repairs what is genuinely broken, learning from experience to create something new and unbroken.
This is what it means to be ENLIGHTENED. The light of human dignity shows us the way.
The prevailing behaviour of people of this moment in time is to become dissociated from cause and consequence, which ultimately leads to ineffective pragmatism or self-destructive optimism.
The best example I know of self-destructive optimism was THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS observance of Hitlers breach of accords and build up munitions, then appeasing Hitler and accepting his contradictory behaviour as an anomaly.
Optimistically accepting Hitler's plea for peaceful reunion, with all the evidence pointing to the contrary.
THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES led to appeasement, that later allowed Hitler to continue building towards his covert goal of war and death as a mechanism to his self-entitlement.
34 million civilians died from blind optimism.
We don't learn much from history.
Evidenced by the fact that we repeat it.
People are generally very poor at difficult communication and very weak at proactive, positive action in the balance of what it means to be human right. This is because we prioritise our comfort.
Predators will eventually facilitate our discomfort anyway.
This self-interested pursuit of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs is by nature selfish. People will allow great harm to come to others until that harm turns to impact them.
Well, my friends, life is not simple. Mentally we have to grow up and understand that life is complicated, so let's build a cognitive bridge to help each other get over and through it with grace and dignity.
My take on this beautiful rebellion is not to acquiesce to normalised societal behaviours that are counter to human dignity. And so, I take a position.
I don't care if people like me at all.
I do not follow the crowd.
I don't need others to motivate me to do the right thing.
This is called having internal drive and emotional resilience.
If I have to be the only person standing against a crowd expressing fealty to human indignity, then I will accept the price of this integrity, even if this includes my doom.
It is better to die with integrity than live in shame.
And so, we must each be able to identify right from wrong based on the dignity or indignity that our decisions and the decisions of others inflicts on those around us.
If people hurt people, this is wrong.
We must speak up and support each other to stop what is wrong and stop that which hurts people.
However, do not get caught up in the psychological operations of evil politics. Ergo HAMAS is EVIL just as the NAZI PARTY was EVIL as measured by their shared and demonstrated behaviours and by their shared and declared ideologies to harm people.
Be prepared to study, to learn and to speak what you learn.
DEBATE by all means but avoid supporting evil people.
Be the one that stands out.
